And here is the next chunk of the images I’ve collected. Part 1 is !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , Part 2 is !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , and Part 4 is !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .
Locomobile was a very apt name, it looked like a locomotive for the road.
Every car needs this.

Yes, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
I will let you guys be the jury on whether this 3-tone paint works.
I got distracted by another car and forgot to take a picture of the whole tractor.
Kewl.
Still one of the coolest looking cars ever.
I commented that I had never heard of this car before and the owner happily whipped out a binder full of info for me.
Jaaaaag
The morning was going great until I saw this.

I originally had no clue what this buck was for, but !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! revealed in !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! that it’s for a Momo Mirage. They hadn’t yet arrived when I made my rounds.

If this is actually an original 260 Ranchero, it’s pretty crazy rare.

At what point do these stop being Shelby Stripes and become Pepsi Stripes due to sheer weight of PEPSIPEPSIPEPSIPEPSIPEPSI?

If that Monterey doesn’t attract a quality MontegoMan sighting to shift the numbers around, something has gone wrong. Also, two Falcons in one post? And a Cortina? You know I have impulse problems.

Holy shit, guys! Don’t you ever talk to people? Where are the stories of the owners? I mean I was there, with you, in this sea of flaming Jalops...and you weren’t sufficiently curious about the obvious diversity of entrants to actually talk to a few them?
The humble tinkerer who...oh, just happened to have a Bugatti Type 35...
Lulu Wang and her stable of cars...which included a ’58 Testarossa & a ‘58250 GTO SWB—that name! Saw her name in the program and had to meet her.
Lulu (pictured middle for those confused)
These guys were just aching for someone to talk to about their passion. That’s what I found, anyway.

An Alfa of some sort. It was a coachbuilt special, I think.

Love the Locomobile. Originally they built steam cars thus the name.
Also love the SAAB 93. That Triumph Mayflower is an interesting rarity. One of them participated in the 1959 endurance race at Lime Rock - and came in last I think.
